The bluepill GROUP, in collaboration with diversophy, brings SIETAR, the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, to Second Life!

The SIETAR Intercultural Learning Space features in Spanish and English 19 Intercultural, game based cultural exercises, fully dedicated to an immersive v-learning experience.

Explore different cultures and learn how you can deal with the challenges of living and working with people different from yourself in ever more diverse and multicultural places.

Earn a score on every cultural exercise you complete. Take the challenge to put your Avatar Name on the top scorer list in the SIETAR Intercultural Learning Space Auditorium.

Besides the Learning Space find an Information Centre about the SIETAR World Congress held from 22 to 26 October in Granada, Spain.

"HOW GLOBALIZATION AFFECTS CULTURES & CULTURES SHAPE GLOBALIZATION".

The bluepill GROUP brings Mike Mikes photography project The Face of Tomorrow” to the Contemporary Art Museum Saint Gery in Second Life.

The Contemporary Art Museum Saint Gery in Second Life is a faithful reproduction of the renown Neo-Renaissance Market Hall Saint Gery, built in 1881 and located in real life in the "heart "of the European Capital in Brussels, Belgium.

The Saint Gery Contemporary Art Museum is a permanent installation with changing exhibitions, fully dedicated to contemporary Art and to an immersive Art experiences in synthetic worlds.

What is the face of London, New York, Paris? What does a Londoner, a New Yorker, a Parisian look like?

The Face of Tomorrow is a concept for a series of photographs that addresses the effects of globalization on identity.

The large metropolises of the world are magnets for migrants from all parts of the planet resulting in new mixtures of peoples.

What might a typical inhabitant of this new metropolis look like in one or two hundred years if they were to become more integrated?

The Face of Tomorrow attempts to find this face by taking photographs of the current inhabitants and compositing their faces to create a typical face.

What we get is a new person - a mix of all the people in that city.

A face that doesn't exist right now, but a face, it seems, of someone quite real the Face of Tomorrow

The Contemporary Art Museum Saint Gery in Second Life is a faithful reproduction of the renown Neo-Renaissance Market Hall Saint Gery built in 1881 and located in real life in the "heart "of the European Capital in Brussels, Belgium.

The Saint Gery Contemporary Art Museum in Second Life is now a permanent installation with changing exhibitions, fully dedicated to contemporary Art and to an immersive Art experiences in synthetic worlds. 

Stroll through the Saint Gery Museum like visiting any other real world Art exhibition and discover a fully immersive experience that is only beatable by reality.  

On your visit you will discover famous French photographer Jean Marc Henry and Marie Claire, a renown Belgium painter.

The Jean Marc Henry photography exhibition "Brussels in my first life and in my Second Life" focuses on 50 unique Brussels Photographs. 

See the European Capital through the eyes of Jean Marc Henry and explore the city’s diverse and somewhat chaotic architecture, the constantly changing and difficult light and the cultural and social mix. 
The “My Brussels” exhibition mirrors Jean Marc Henry's perspective of his chosen home town.

The exhibition "Human Landscapes", shows a series of Marie-Claires paintings that convinced Art critics across Europe with her free, lyrical style, marked by modern urban influences.

The paintings exhibited show her recent work linked to photography and her artistic search for light and space.
 
The real world exhibition opens on Wednesday the 9th of January 2008 in the 1881 built Neo-Renaissance Saint Gery in the heart of Brussels, Belgium and at the same time in the Virtual 1-1 reproduction of Saint Gery, in Second Life.

BRUSSELS AIRLINES

b.places, the «places to be» in Second Life.

The bluepill GROUP developed for the recently merged Belgian flagship carrier Brussels Airlines (formerly Virgin Express and SN Brussels Airlines) an involving and value adding Second Life campaign.

The objectives:
-To raise brand awareness among Second Life inhabitants
-To attract new international customers
-To position Brussels Airlines as an innovative brand

To realise these objectives the b.places campaign was developed and soft launched on June the 19th 2007.

b-places.com  is a Second Life Resident Rated Hotspot Directory that has despite it's recent launch already become one of the most successful Hotspot Destination Directory available about Second Life.

After only 4 weeks, b.places had already received 5.829 unique resident votes collected via 157 interactive b.places voting boxes which are available on 61 Hotspots throughout the virtual territory of Second Life.
  
Further, more than 10.000 Real Time updated HUD's (Head Up Displays) were in circulation. And this was just the beginning. In the mean time, 15th of January 2008, there are more than 360 Hotspots, 1.700 Voting Boxes, 42.000 HUDs and more than 73.000 votes!

Jean Marc Henry and the bluepill GROUP bring you the Mixed Reality Photography Exhibition "My Brussels".

The exhibition focuses on 70 of the best Brussels Photographs of Jean Marc Henry.

The Real World Saint Gery exhibition in the heart of Brussels took place between 07/06/07 and 09/08/07.

Originally the exhibition was only scheduled to last one month, but due to its tremendous success it lasted at the end 3 month and attracted thousands of visitors.
